Berejiklian government creates new climate change division in the public service | LisaVisentin

The Berejiklian government has further staked its commitment to tackling climate change by setting up a new division in the public sector dedicated to developing policy on energy and climate change.

It represents the biggest emphasis on climate change policy a NSW Coalition government has placed on the public service. In a major restructure following the election win, Ms Berejiklian reconfigured the government to be centred around eight cluster ministries - Premier and Cabinet, the Treasury, Customer Service, Planning and Industry, Transport, Health, Education, Family and Community Services and Justice.

'He’s defying scientific fact': Striking students confront Tony Abbott on climate changeStudents have once again taken to the streets, two weeks out from the federal election, to make sure climate change remains front and centre of political debate. The truth is the students are living fantastic lives thanks to coal, so we have a girl that got shot in the head saying go to school and now we have socialist teachers telling children not to go to school. Stop using children as pawns, cretins. I saw the pictures it looks like the children were taken hostage. Don’t vote for the dinosaur. He is genuinely clueless. Past his use by date. Vote for Zali

Is giving up flying the best way to stop climate change?I start sweating nervously every time I read about how air travel impacts the environment. I don't want to stay grounded. Another champagne socialist trying to rationalise their hypocrisy. Giving up the IPA and getting rid of them for ever would be quicker faster and more beneficial to humanity Yes, but the left won’t focus on that.. they exclusively run narrative rather than fact Like coffee cups.. rather than drinking less coffee (the right answer) they focus on reusable cups.. which take way more energy to produce and need to be washed in hot water each time! 🤔

Climate change is a big deal for voters, so how do the policies stack up?Are the policies being spruiked by the parties adequate to save us from disaster? And how do they compare to what other countries are doing? You will never figure it out; one side believes it is real and is doing something about it, and the other is the IPA LNP, the side you are backing. ALP has a Policy Your mob doent believe in it and has no policy. Should be a short analysis It SHOULD be a 'big deal' for voters, in the fact that BOTH major parties are parroting a complete lie, devised by oligarchs, and perpetuated by the U.N (another creation of banker oligarchs). What does that tell you about both parties? climatechangescam globalwarmingisalie Climate change is not a big deal. Really not in Australia 🇦🇺Make Australia Great again without Labor Greens. Vote any party first just put Labor Green Last auspol
