HSBC’s bankers are on the scene at Magnis Energy Technologies’ battery manufacturing business, seeking equity investors to fuel expansion plans alongside a mooted US-government sponsored debt facility.

Street Talk can reveal HSBC’s bankers have made a six point pitch for Imperium3 New York , the US “gigafactory” battery maker that wants to ramp up production more than 30-times before the end of the decade and is about 60 per cent owned by ASX-listed Magnis Energy.

HSBC’s six point pitch started with the huge lithium-ion opportunity , before moving on to iM3NY specific factors; differentiated technology, currently in production, North America supply chain, financial dynamics and go-to-market strategy.
