The all-electric GMC Hummer is getting an overlanding upfit that should allow owners to get way off the grid and stay there for a time car auto cars

for the Hummer EV. This rendered image gives us a lot more insight into the final product when compared to a teaser from earlier this year. The production version is coming to market early in 2024.

GMC and EarthCruiser announced back in late March that they’d work together to build an up-fitted overlanding upgrade for the Hummer EV. At the time, it only showed us a dark image that barely gave away the general shape of the vehicle. Now we know that the sleek SUV-esque back half of the concept integrates a pop-up tent.

This new render shows off what the pickup could look like on a dark night. It appears that the pop-up camper will have storage compartments that flank each side and flood lights to brighten up the area around the Hummer. Interestingly, it doesn’t seem as though people sleeping in that pop-up area will be able to stargaze from their pillows.

As we can see from the original teaser image, it seems as though EarthCruiser is going to fit solar panels to the top of the housing. Perhaps the platform we see hanging off of the end of the pop-up section is meant for taking in the heavens above. It’s worth noting too that there’s something between the bed area and the roof of theWhat exactly EarthCruiser houses there is up for debate.
