Today at the New York Auto Show, Ram presented the 2025 Ram 1500 REV electric pickup in production form, and in the flesh. The Stellantis brand also provided additional details regarding the future truck’s capacities.
Needless to say, this puts the model ahead of the competition... which will have no choice but to react. The Ram 1500 REV is assembled on a ladder-like structure designed for large electric vehicles. It's internally identified as the STLA platform. In the back there’s a power outlet with a power of 7.2 kW, while at the front, in the trunk, there will be various outlets with a capacity of 3.6 kW.

Rivian, Hummer and Ford have all demonstrated that a BEv truck’s range tanks as soon as you try to do truck things with it. But a series hybrid power train cures the range issue. RamTrucks So in the event of an accident with some moderate damage are these Rams totaled due to the fact the battery(s) can not be removed like other EV's ? What is the cost of a new battery ? Specs are fine but ownership of one could be expensive to say the least.
