American automaker Jeep is planning to broaden its horizon to electric powertrains in a move shared by various other international vehicle manufacturers.
The company plans to bring four fully-electric SUVs by 2025, including two all-new models. The brand will initially only introduce the vehicles into North America and Europe. Jeep said that by 2030, it expects 50% of sales in the US and 100% of its sales in Europe will be battery-electric vehicles.
