ABC’s weather presenter Nate Bryne thinks he can dictate which companies should be allowed to sponsor private media organisations, says Sky News host Chris Kenny.

In a tweet, Mr Byrne shared a clip from Channel Nine’s Today show and said he was “surprised” to see the show chose Shell, a “fossil fuel company plugging petrol” to sponsor its weather

segments.“That’s how Nine makes money, and it’s how Shell advertises its brand, and there’s hardly a person in the country that doesn’t use their products or their stations from time to time.”

You know, maybe if Chris Kenny was anywhere near as qualified as Nate he could have an opinion. Then again, that would require Kenny having some self awareness and humility.

abcnews summed up perfectly.

Kenny can't see the irony of fossil fuels advertising on the weather.

Mr Kenny discussed the Bureau of Meteorology's analysis of last month’s weather in New South Wales, which he had 'not seen covered elsewhere' in the media. Or maybe economics, but hey 🤷‍♂️ And the politicians and media are fuelled by the WEF and its members like blackrock. Can’t you see what everyone else can?

Energy policy will be the ‘ruin’ of the Labor governmentSky News host Chris Kenny says energy policy will be the 'ruin' of the Labor government, as we wait for the latest intervention that 'supposedly will be a temporary fix'. 'I mean just imagine if they just allowed the market to pay what it wanted to pay for coal and gas, which would lead to us producing more of the coal and gas that is our country's vast bounty,' Mr Kenny said. 'I mean then we might have stacks of cheap electricity, like we used to, as well as plenty of exports. 'Madness, I know.' Couldn't agree more.
