Even though they are currently offline as they have yet to appear on the chargEV app, both locations have since been listed on PlugShare. The multi-connector 50kW DC charger at Starbucks Eco Grandeur as listed on chargEV app.
All these chargers are currently available for free until the end of October and can be activated through the chargEV mobile app. To celebrate the occasion, all chargEV-equipped Starbucks will be offering a 50% discount on their first Grande-sized Handcrafted Beverage to chargEV members starting from 1 November 2022 onwards.
While EV owners are not required to sign up for chargEV membership which costs RM240 per year in order to utilise the chargers at these Starbucks locations, YGT still recommends it anyway. This is so that they obtain discounts on charging fees and also a physical membership card that might be needed to activate some of the older chargEV AC chargers out there.
