Land Rover promises the EV will be the “quietest and most refined Range Rover ever created” but that’s as far as it’s gone into technical detail up until now. In the press release accompanying the photos, the company mentions that it is focused on delivering a “new in-house all-electric propulsion system” that can operate in all weather conditions, no matter how extreme.
A date has yet to be set, but the finished Range Rover Electric is expected to make its public debut later this year. Land Rover has yet to say how much the EV will cost, but we imagine it will cost more than the gas-powered version’s $107,900 starting price.
