'It’s like someone barfed in your backyard' | Class action lawsuit filed over smells from Denver Purina pet food plant
The suit which names Denver residents Roberts Fields and Lorena Ortiz as plaintiffs was filed on Tuesday against Nestle Purina Petcare Co., the owner of the plant which has been operating in the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood for decades. “Purina is releasing something so toxic that it’s making our eyes water over a mile away,” one of the cited complaints reads.
