Boris Johnson vows a green revolution as the prize of finally delivering Brexit GE2019

Mr Johnson plans to vow that a majority Tory government will drive a clean energy revolution that will “harness the power of science, innovation and technology to tackle climate change, spur economic growth and create high skilled, high wage jobs".Last month, the Conservatives announced their plan to fund the world’s first nuclear fusion plant.

Such plants could play a key role in reducing Britain’s emissions to net zero by 2050 – which is one of the aims set to be unveiled in the Tory manifesto.n extra £1billion over five years to boost green tech in the motor industry. "We can honour the wishes of the people, or else we can waste more time, at the cost of a billion pounds per month, and have two more referendums, one on Scotland and one on the EU - an expense of spirit and a waste of shame, more political self-obsession and onanism."

When in doubt promise some shite the electorate will lap up and don’t worry about actually delivering it.

Excellent! The rise of the Green Right. Finally a party & direction I can really get behind. Lots of my fellows on the Right fail to understand the Green thing but that's where the smart money is. We can't just brutally plough on like mindless luddites and hope we'll prosper.
