LONDON - Rich Energy, a drink brand that recently lost a copyright infringement case over its logo, said on Wednesday it had cancelled a title sponsorship of the Haas Formula One team due to “poor performance”.
“The politics and PC attitude in @F1 is also inhibiting our business. We wish the team well,” it added. Questions have been asked by the Formula One media about the energy drink brand’s finances and statements by company boss William Storey.

Would not be the first time that a sponsor pulled the rug from under an F1 team. Of course we don't know the actual reason, but time will reveal all. Feel for HaasF1Team in this situation. They're good ambassadors for the sport and this sucks big-time.
