The Greens leader accuses the Government of being extremists for not taking tougher action on climate change, hitting back at the Prime Minister's claims his party presents a bigger risk than the United Australia Party.

Greens leader Richard Di Natale has described the Federal Government as"extremist" for not taking tougher action to reduce emissions, while dismissing the Prime Minister's claims the Greens were apologists for farm-invading vegans.

"Scott Morrison will say or do anything to hold onto the job," Senator Di Natale told 7.30 on Tuesday evening.Find out how your views compare to Australia's major political parties. Simply answer a few questions via Vote Compass. He said the Prime Minister's accusations were a"disgraceful" lie, and that he had"great sympathy" for farmers who had been targeted."Of course we condemn some of those activities. If people are going to break the law they should face consequences."Senator Di Natale was asked if his party would respect Labor's mandate if the Opposition won the election, or whether the Greens would use a potential balance-of-power position in the Senate to make policy demands.

The Greens constantly protest with extreme activist groups and they are not extremists. PutGreensLast

And the greens are illegally invading farms with their vegan zombies. They also bring in their nazi mates from antifa for any staged events. Greens are the real delusional extremists.

Wasn’t It One Of Your Green Supporters That Egged Morrison. Not Very Smart Are We.

DiNatalie is a Jew hater and fascist. Why dont you challenge him about these facts instead of secretly supporting him?

The Greens are lying shits!!!!!!!

He has no mandate to impose his extremist ideas on the people of Australia and I hope he gets sent a very clear message about that at the election.

WTF Greens are the biggest hypocrites in this country

Lol

And the ABC continue to give this guy air time

Nice one Dicky😂😂😂

imagine that coming from the abc😂

Let me get this right, baby murderer Natale wants abortion up to the delivery date, acceptance of isis fighters in Australia, the banning of all speech with conservative views and he thinks the Liberals are extreme!

This is the guy that wants to ban any form of speech that he does not agree with. Fuck off to China

Greens are left and extreme left. I don't see how they can argue otherwise.

So parties that get close to 50% of the vote are extremists & a party that out on the far left getting approx 10% is the mainstream; got it.

go away Carbon Tax!

He says that but look at where all the violence is coming from. The left every single time.

Extremists!?

Clearly any of you will say anything to get/keep a job.

The propaganda is strong in the comments we see. The real existential threat to Australia, is from multi national corporations, who pay little to no tax, through offshore accounts, ripping off every Australian, while destroying the planet, through pollution itself. 🤯 auspol

Di Natale is complete and utter nutter! The Greens are nothing but a bunch far left of left radical socialists! There as dangerous as GetUP! A vote for Labor is a vote for the ratbag Greens! Re-elect the Government to save the country from crooked Shorten and Labor...!!!

There are actually times when you shouldn't double down. Di Nutter has a 10 and a 2. And he's doubling down 🙄

tnsprofpunter

tnsprofpunter Not as extreme as your supporters attacking the Prime Minister. Where is sarahinthesen8 ? She supports these acts against parliamentarians. Your silence is sickening. auspol

Great interview exposing LNP lies and corruption. Excellent work ABC!

Yeah nah. Greens are dangerous to any country.

One can only wonder how the intellect can be wired in such a distorted, I am right, I know best manner. There is zero room for the blatant overlay of personal perspective on genuine politics. Why should one dollar of tax be assigned to this?

Don’t know a vegan that would throw an egg anyway

Richard and the greens are a cancer that has infested Australian politics.

Greenie states that some one else is an extremists...LOL ...their religion is a mad joke ...ABC doing the hard work for any idiot ...ABC you fake news

Dick is broken..

Funniest thing I've read all week. Thanks. auspol

Says the guy who's party member defends pedophiles rights.

Could the ABC be more partisan? Funding days are numbered

So half the population are extremists... Nice way to get people to vote for you 😄

Snappy comeback from Di Nat ‘You are!’

'Fall off the chair after laughing so loud'

Only fringe basement dwellers follow the garbage this guy spews it will never be part of the mainstream views of the majority of Australians

He’s got a point that egging isn’t “extreme”, but it still has no place in a civil society, part of those unjustifiable acts when words can be used. auspol
