Prince William, 40, was seen riding an electric scooter in the grounds of Windsor Castle on Thursday, July 4, as he made his way to work to see his father, King Charles

Prince William has showcased his love for eco-friendly transportation after being spotted zipping around Windsor Castle on an electric scooter.

As one source told The Sun: "It just makes sense. He whizzes up to the castle when he needs to see the King." The insider added, "It's a two or three-mile round trip from his family home at Adelaide Cottage to Windsor Castle so it's easier by scooter than car or walking," reports the Express. E-scooters have zoomed into popularity lately, with some online steals as cheap as £20, though the swankier models can set you back a whopping £6,000.
