The Greens have shifted their election focus away from their traditional heartland in Melbourne's inner-north to the moneyed inner east as the party hunts for a second lower house seat in Victoria at the coming federal election.
When asked on Monday about the Greens' lower house prospects, Senator Di Natale put the focus firmly on Kooyong, Higgins and Macnamara. Ms Hodgins-May came within a few hundred votes in 2016 of forcing Labor into third place and taking the seat, and Senator Di Natale said on Monday that his party would have a "real crack" at the bayside electorate.

The real contest is in the outer suburbs, where just getting to work is an ordeal, and not where which cafe serves the best macchiato and smashed avo.

The Green Party led by Di Natale is a very authoritarian non- inclusive party - their motto should be “ Do as I say or else ....”
