Energy transition: Anthony Albanese’s silly billion-dollar bet on solar panels

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is gambling $1 billion of taxpayers’ money on manufacturing solar panels, under the guise of a “future made in Australia”.

And whatever the energy and economic merits of nuclear power, the Coalition will offer similar huge subsidies for nuclear.
