.Clouds are persistent this morning, but we’ll still see some breaks of sunshine. We continue to deal with weak energy aloft, so as sunshine breaks out, clouds build back across the area. Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies at times throughout the day. An isolated shower can’t be ruled out, but the threat is very low. Highs are milder in the lower 60s. High pressure begins to build in tonight, partially clearing skies.
With a return flow setting up Thursday, we get close to 70 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Clouds are on the increase towards evening ahead of the next storm system. Showers move in for Friday afternoon, and continue overnight, into early Saturday. Another upper-level trough moves overhead and keeps the shower threat around for the afternoon. Temperatures begin to tumble from around 60 Saturday to the 50s Sunday.
