Energy Energy Headlines News

The area of low pressure that brought us a soaking rain continues to lift northeast. We are drying out; however, upper-level energy will keep clouds around, and the low threat for stray showers.

Today is a drier day. However, we are still under the influence of an upper-level trough and energy. That means clouds still hover with peeks of sunshine. It’s not as cool in the mid to upper 50s. Winds stay breezy out of the NNW 10 to 20 miles per hour. I can’t rule out a stray shower or two, but the chances are very low.Strong energy aloft swings through Monday and could produce a couple showers in the afternoon. Most of the day is dry with considerable cloudiness.

Readings continue to fall short of average and remain in the mid to upper 50s. Tuesday, we’ll still see quite a bit of cloud cover early with some clearing late day. Highs are near 60 degrees. Ridge builds aloft, and surface high mid to late week, supports a nice couple of days with plenty of sunshine, and warmer temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. The next storm system brings rain late on Friday and continues into the beginning of the weekend.
