The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP), the country’s sole power transmission operator, is putting a premium on training the future generation about securing the country’s energy sector.

The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines , the country’s sole power transmission operator, is putting a premium on training the future generation about securing the country’s energy sector.

The grid operator said over 400 engineering students from different universities participated in its facility tours. Several universities which completed tours in various NGCP facilities were the Tarlac State University at NGCP’s Mexico Substation, Batangas State University at Laoag Substation, University of Nueva Caceres at Naga Substation, Mindanao State University-General Santos City Campus at Toril Substation, University of the East-Recto at Bauang Substation, and Mindanao State University-Marawi Campus at Baloi Substation.
