MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. was invited by envoys of the United Arab Emirates to Dubai for the 2023 United Nations climate change conference in December 2023, according to Malacañang Palace on Wednesday. According to the Malacañang, UAE Ambassador H.E. Mohamed Obaid Salem Alqataam Alzaabi and the envoys extended the invitation on behalf of their government during a visit to Marcos on Tuesday, where they spoke about the Philippines’ green projects.

The Palace said that the UAE has also expressed its wishes to introduce a platform knowledge program to the Philippines, which was launched in 2018.
