A day after unveiling the 2023-24 provincial budget the NDP have called on the government to scrap rate hikes to energy and gas bills. skpoli

Harpauer said there will be “record high” investment across several sectors but this will be done through “a sustainable, responsible manner where we have the revenue to pay for those expenses and in order to sustain them into the future.” However, Health Minister Paul Merriman accused the NDP Opposition of no “paying attention” if it feels there was nothing to address health-care concerns.

“I have committed that I do not want to do that as finance minister,” said Harpauer, saying she feels it would be “irresponsible” to do otherwise.

Who are we kidding. Those politicians can afford all the increases with the big raise they gave themselves. The rest of us don't matter. It only rains our money at election time.

But applauded theJagmeetSingh who voted in favour of the carbon tax which will raise gasoline prices a min of 16 cents per litre April 1. MINIMUM!! Sask_NDP are fully with JustinTrudeau obviously.
