MANILA -Basic Energy Corp. has opened an electric vehicle charging station along one of the country’s busiest thoroughfares as part of its renewable energy transport program. Through its wholly owned subsidiary Basic Energy Renewables Corp. and partner Ecology Energy Corp., the company launched “Basic Recharge Station” at the EcoOil Station along Edsa southbound.“This will service the EV motoring public, who now own or are considering to acquire EVs to benefit from the growing shift to a transport landscape that is both environmentally impactful and economical,” the company said in a statement.
The station offers fast charging and a variety of connectors to service the different vehicle models available in the Philippines. It can simultaneously recharge up to three EVs.
