More than 100,000 Austin Energy customers without power Wednesday morning

PUBLISHED 6:55 AM CST Feb. 01, 2023AUSTIN, Texas — Just before 8 a.m. Wednesday, Austin Energy reported 113,563 customers were without power as trees and limbs were downed by ice.

The majority of the outages appeared to be west of Interstate 35.
