The intended value of the subsidy was €50million a year, meaning the subvention was worth €600million to large businesses over the 12-year period, the Irish Independent reports.However, 2.1 million domestic electricity customers were overcharged around €50 each, which led to a further €100million added to the subvention.

I’m afraid the days of throwing buttons at the peasants to keep them quiet are long gone. How much per year did households pay and for how many years. Add on the inflation rate on top of this and then you’ll be treating people with respect and dignity. 50 quid for 14 years of overcharging? WTF 50 euros, I'll book my holidays so.
