The world’s top seller of EVs hasn’t followed through on a 16-year-old goal of making them widely affordable and the Cybertruck, its next model, will be Tesla’s most resource-intensive.

. Musk claimed Cybertruck’s base price would be $39,900 though none of the company’s models has ever sold at the low end of his predictions. With features Tesla encourages customers to add, including Autopilot and Full-Self Driving, the actual price with taxes may approach $100,000 for the heavy truck.

As the once disruptive company matures, Musk is focusing on boosting sales of high-priced, high-margin vehicles, touting speed and power far more than sustainability. No automaker has played a bigger role than Tesla in popularizing EVs and getting car buyers excited about them since it released the $100,000 Roadster in 2008. It’s become the world’s pre-eminent seller of such vehicles, posting consistent profits in recent years after a decade of losses and is on track to deliver well more than a million EVs in 2022.

Trump disruption led to exposure of swamp media like CNN, NBC and more. Now Elon Musk disruption makes Forbes ass burn and forbes is on a roll instigating negativity against Elon Musk - didn't know how deep forbes was embedded in the swamp.

So does Space X

The one that still has yet to be completed, years after people put down deposits... 🤔

Do yall hate Elon that much?

It's called the Cyber Truck :)

The only real news about Elon is Twitter Files.

You guys are just trying your best to drag his name through the mud.

Why did the SEC sue Ripple. Connect the dots. Dec 7/2017: 15 senior JPM execs at Ripple office Jan 2018 Ripple created xrp escrow. June 14/2018 Hinman ETH free pass speech. Aug 2018 Gary says this in his MIT BLOCKCHAIN & MONEY class 👇👇👇

Isnt it funny how yall are writing this whole ridiculous article about the cybertruck, a vehicle that isnt even on the road. Meanwhile not a mention of the GM Hummer EV that is just as environmentally unfriendly and its being mass produced and already on the road.

Cracks are showing.Own up, show up, or go home, Elon!

Can’t compare to Ram or F150 in the looks is department.

He gon ban y’all

Lol They think electric is environmentally friendly. Ffs

Do you realize how contradicting and unintelligent you sound? Musk hit piece 114 but nothing on the Twitter Files? ....and the dangers of government agencies using private companies as proxies to suppress legal speech?

Forbes Wow I can’t recall the last time I read such a poorly informed article that’s full of opinions and feelings. Forbes So what is environmentally friendly? No motor vehicles? And does a cyber truck use more materials (other than lithium, but that is comparable to oil) than a normal truck? Seems that it has now become fashionable to bash Musk like it used to be fashionable to love evs. Forbes Tesla for sure the ugliest car design ever on earth

Leave it to liberal woke fake journalists to whine about electric anything!!!!!! This article should’ve been written when the cyber truck first debuted. Not now that the FUD is piling on. It’s too obvious the article has a motive now and not real “journalism” please do better Forbes. Having the work Elon or Tesla is clickbait. Everyone has caught onto this ⌚🇻🇪♀️🇨🇻🆚⚰️🇦🇩 🗳️ 🍓📯
