Sky News host Chris Kenny takes a look at the energy situation in Europe, which is what Labor and the Greens want to “emulate” with their “obsessive pursuit of renewables”.

“Labor promised to deliver cheaper electricity … $275 a year cheaper they promised, but it’s gone up by more than

that, and now they want parliament to trust them with their next plan, cobbled together on the run,” Mr Kenny said.

This is my brother in England today. Can’t afford power to warm his house.

To see a future in renewables. We need to keep our reliable and current source of energy in tact at a reasonable cost to enable smooth transition. Jumping on the throat of Australians to speed up the process Is fundamentally stupid.

How you like dem apples Chrissie Boy? 🥴

Is this the pervert?

When is he taking a look at the appalling behaviour of his colleague Chris Smith?

Isn't the German govt putting caps on electricity prices, just like us? And we're the world's largest producer of LNG

Where's Smiffy? What the fuck have Sky done with Smiffy? Oh no,has Smiffy fucked up on the drink again? Tell us Sky,tell us

2+ decades of socialist 'climate change' trojan horse caused this crisis. Toxic, destructive 'renewables' only cheaper with deceitful socialist accounting. Now Labor is taking the Venezuala route of interfering in the market. Labor is trashing *our* money for *their* idiology.

Typical right wing hack, looking to emulate rather than innovate, ask the LNP how that goes

It is strange, I voted for Labor but I was hoping they had a different plan to what the planet has been doing for a decade or so now. It obviously hasn't worked as emissions have increased, it would seem are government's plan is no different?

Hey Chris, since when did rooting a dog give you the authority and qualifications to comment on energy markets?

Govt has ‘no agenda’ around ‘structural changes’ of energy supplyNationals leader David Littleproud says his party will not be voting for the government’s emergency energy legislation. “That’ll have unintended consequences – it will tear away at investment confidence,” he told Sky News Australia. He said the legislation will threaten the “big issue” of energy supply, which the government should be more focused on tackling. “We’re going to have a shortage of supply. “The government has no agenda around the structural changes around supply.” 👏 No surprise! Why would this bunch of Despicable Hopeless Rorters change the habits of a lifetime! And for Beetroot to have the hide to comment on TV about Renewables, just shows what a F*wit he is. Ignorant Entitled Grifter. Of course !!!! Govt’s solution to energy crisis ‘will just stop’ power bills ‘going up as much’The Australian Financial Review's Political Editor Phillip Coorey says the government's solution to the energy crisis “won’t make your power bill low” but instead 'will just stop it from going up as much as it otherwise would have'. “Because of the caps on gas and coal your power bill would have gone up by 63 per cent over this year and next,' he told Sky News Australia. 'That’s now going to go up by 47 per cent this year and next, which is about $230 a household. 'And that will go down further when they work out over the summer how much discount you’ll get on your bill if you’re a low or middle income household.' Phil also thought Gladys was Australia’s saviour…. That worked out well. Seems extraordinary AlboMP & Bowenchris are willing to gift billions of tax payers money to energy multi-nationals already making billions in profits from our resources. DIDN'T VOTE FOR THAT. And refusing to provide that same money to households struggling with cost of living. Not what was promised.
