The Australian Financial Review’s Political Editor Phillip Coorey says the government’s solution to the energy crisis “won’t make your power bill low” but instead “will just stop it from going up as much as it otherwise would have”.

“Because of the caps on gas and coal your power bill would have gone up by 63 per cent over this year and next,” he told Sky News Australia.“And that will go down further when they work out over the summer how much discount you’ll get on your bill if you’re a low or middle income household.”

Nothing is free. When you attempt to restrict a force which continues to build pressure underneath a cap it is not going to end well. Price caps=Reduction in supply Printing money without increasing supply = inflation =reduced purchasing power +War is coming we need↑oil-gas

Not what was promised.

Seems extraordinary AlboMP & Bowenchris are willing to gift billions of tax payers money to energy multi-nationals already making billions in profits from our resources. DIDN'T VOTE FOR THAT. And refusing to provide that same money to households struggling with cost of living.

Phil also thought Gladys was Australia’s saviour…. That worked out well.
