Canoo, an EV startup that is aiming to sell a pod-shaped van to the public in 2023, has modified one of its upcoming pickup trucks for the United States Army.
The U.S. Army awarded Canoo a contract to test one of its vehicles in July, and now the division will use the Light Tactical Vehicle prototype for "analysis and demonstration." The LTV features all-wheel drive and a 600-hp powertrain as well as air springs, a raised suspension, and 32-inch all-terrain tires.
canoo USArmy Go Army! Go Canoo!
canoo USArmy Would an electric pulse like you see in a James Bond movie render electric vehicles useless ?
canoo USArmy I hope they can raise that suspension. That looks like it will rub at that height.
canoo USArmy Another fish-face vehicle. No thank you!
canoo USArmy 200m range should prove awesome for LRRP troops.
canoo USArmy Great idea. What do the diesel powered charging stations look like?
canoo USArmy Any military truck will spend the majority of its life in a motorpool parked. Batteries might struggle in that lifestyle.
canoo USArmy
canoo USArmy send that to ukraine 🤣🤣🤣
canoo USArmy Well let’s hope they have a charging station on the battlefield or we’re screwed.
