Russian Deputy PM says restoration of Nord Stream possible as pipeline leaks halt: media

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on Sunday that it was technically possible to restore the ruptured offshore infrastructure of the Nord Stream gas pipelines, TASS news agency reported.

“There have never been such incidents. Of course, there are technical possibilities to restore the infrastructure, it takes time and appropriate funds. I am sure that appropriate possibilities will be found,” Novak said. Nord Stream AG said on Saturday that gas was no longer flowing out of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which had held some gas despite never becoming operational.

So Russia can fix a pipeline on the bottom of the ocean while at war and under severe sanctions but Trudeau says Canada can’t build an LNG export facility on the East Coast. Wow. Canadian ‘can do’ know no limits. cdnpoli

My question is if it’s proven to be the USA who did this, do they pay to fix it? Or does this open the allowance of it’s ok to blow crap up even if it’s not yours. Like gas lines telecommunications, underwater power lines. Basically anything Russia wants to do to pay it back.?
