The construction of a state-owned gas storage facility, and a non-commercial Liquefied Natural Gas import terminal are to be recommended as part of an energy security review to be published next week, the Business Post can reveal.
Following its publication, Eamon Ryan, the Minister for the Environment, is to launch a consultation on the proposed options, before deciding on a final government policy in early 2023.
Shame it will take 4 years to build it and nowhere to source gas from, no?
