Assuming the Maxima is given new life as an EV, and it were to look anything like the concept car, we could be in for some innovation that excites soon. Today's Maxima was introduced in 2015 and hasn't been updated in any significant way since. It's fairly conventional, too, with a V-6 engine and a continuously variable automatic transmission powering its front wheels, along with plus-size-Altima styling.
