A deadly glacial avalanche in Italy. The 4th major flood in Sydney since March. Record Alaskan wildfires. Another U.S. heat wave. Extreme weather events tied to human-caused global warming are slamming the planet — and the results have been deadly.

In Alaska,These strikes touched off more wildfires in a season already on track to be one of the state's worst, withOne wildfire is burning close enough to Clear Space Force Station toto place the base in "set" mode, ready to evacuate if necessary. The station is home to a sophisticated ballistic missile detection radar.

According to Rick Thoman, a climate specialist with the University of Alaska at Fairbanks, wildfires burned the second-largest acreage on record during the month of June, withOne unusual aspect of the fires has been their prevalence in southwestern parts of the state, and the size of the blazes in tundra ecosystems.

The wildfires have covered much of the state in hazardous smoke, with air quality in Fairbanks and smaller communities reaching levels more commonly seen in India and China.Alaska has been unusually warm and dry in recent months, and there is a heat wave affecting northwestern Canada, helping to jump-start the wildfire season there too.

These are all the end of times!

Show me a single, a single piece of evidence any of these things you just listed came from human-made global warming. Show me. One piece. Please. Just pick one. You false pseudoscience death cult…

Green energy should be a global priority

I think we have been warned of this for years, now we need to start going after the ones/cos that lied & denialed it

Where I'm from it's called weather and natural disaster But you won't get clicks without exaggerating will ya 🤡

Were there not many scientists that predicted these exact scenarios?

Please provide proof that these events, similar to innumerable events throughout recorded history, are 'tied to human-caused global warming'. And just saying it doesn't count.

Interesting correlation and causation statement. Even if we all agreed that anthropometric climate change is real, and if we acknowledged that all of these things happened, it is still a logical leap that the former is the cause of all the latter.

lauferlaw Not only devastating to people, I’m sick thinking about all the flora and wildlife That are dying also.

They happened in the Age of the freakin DINOSAURS when they and hell froze over. No cars back then either. Ugh

But more people were dying from climate-related events 100+ years ago. The trend has improved since we began tracking the data. Why didn’t you report that?

what do you want me to do about it

It's happening Now, the future is now with climate change, the question maybe ...is it locked in?

Please provide proof that these events, similar to innumerable similar events which have happened throughout recorded history, are 'tied to human-caused global warming'. And just saying it doesn't count.

The world, starting right here in the United States, lacks the willpower to do anything about it. The consequences for our children and grandchildren are beyond calculation, maybe beyond imagination.

Obliquity.

Australia flood, boosted by climate change, making history in SydneyThe city is experiencing its wettest year on record after 8 inches of rain in recent days. heh, heh,....climate change,... Not boosted by climate change! Stupidity in not setting up infrastructure when they should have. The Dam needed to be increased to stop floods and to provide water to citizens but it was never done! Will never be done if people don’t speak out on it!

Climate change is putting food safety at risk more often, and not just at picnics and partiesThe link between foodborne illness and climate change is straightforward: pathogens that cause many infections are sensitive to temperature, as warm, wet weather conditions stimulate bacterial growth. We remember when no one had air conditioning and we just learned to be careful. I guess that’s an old fashioned idea.
