The court has struck at the heart of government agencies’ ability to protect the public.

the Occupational Safety and Health Administration from imposing a vaccine-or-test mandate on large employers. Despite very broad statutory language, the court concluded that the statute did notauthorize the agency to impose such a requirement. The unsigned opinion infamously reasoned that COVID was “not an occupational hazard” in most workplaces.’s reasoning is similarly problematic.

When Congress gave the EPA authority to establish the “best system of emission reduction” for stationary sources of pollution like power plants, it presumably included the word “system” for a reason. It was looking for big, structural change, and the Obama EPA obliged. Roberts’ response boils down to his intuitive judgment that EPA’s action “raises an eyebrow.

I’d be checking Ginni & Clarence’s share portfolios and phone records for an involvement with fossil fuel coys. This smacks of special interest. Or would they have made this decision under trump?

dalvajulia The GOP: elected politicians should make these environmental regs, not the experts appointed/hired to put these laws into action. (Every regulation has a public response period where anyone can put in their 2 cents). Stripping agencies of this job makes no sense.

James Madison, President, Founder and Justice Robert's noted the combination of powers creates the risk of tyranny. The real threat to republican government today is not the administrative state. It is the Court. This unelected Court excerised all three branch powers.

We are in a Constitutional Crisis because the US Supreme Court has overstepped it's authority. The Court has limited the scope of federal power. The Court excerised Legislative power by rewriting Statues, It excerised Executive Powers by interfering in the administrative Process

'using a legal rule of its own invention that defies the intent of Congress, the court has struck at the heart of government agencies’ ability to protect the public.'

And returned the power to Congress to either legislate or delegate. It’s called Representative Democracy.

Republican Americans, biggest threat to humanity today. 😥

The notion that the Environmental Protection Agency uses “science” to justify their regulations is false, just like most of the claims they issue on various aspects of the nation’s environment.

Intentional or simply ignorance on your part. SCOTUS, interprets law. “Targets”. You’re not news, a leftist rag that should stick to your readers fucked up issues.
