Shadow Climate Change and Energy Minister Ted O’Brien says nuclear is an energy source “that a lot of countries are using today”.

“I haven’t seen any evidence whatsoever that suggests that nuclear energy should not be considered as an option for our energy mix, based on economics,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“If we have 10 per cent of the world’s energy coming from nuclear, Australia should at least consider the option.”

China owns this country and will never let it happen in Australia. Otherwise who wastes billions to buy their low quality solar panels?

If we can't use coal.. Gina shouldn't be able to sell it either..

Might as well burn our Coal your being Hypocritical when you Sell the Coal you are just as Guilty as Burning it at home and Polluting the Environment....I Forgot Money again Speaks all Languages.

And just about no one expanding into. Another useless Tory with NFI.

I dunno, this coal stuff seems pretty popular!

Somebody should tell Ted O'brien that there was a Parlimentry enquiry under his colleague AngusTaylorMP in 2019 into nuclear power of which the findings were un-viable for Australia. You've got to love the LNP's re hasshed ideas now they're in opposition. It's really sad.

30 years too late

Does Australian get earthquakes

Your Pic shows 2 cooling towers. 99% of what you see is STEAM

Bippity boppity boo…

But,unless I'm wrong, didn't Australia already open it's first Reactor in 1958 in Sydney, & has been rebranded/renamed different entities since then ? I'm pretty sure I'm correct. Which would mean, Australia already has Nuclear energy, so why not upgrade & expand it ? Common sense

I agree it's not like we have earthquakes every day lol, but seriously we to power our stations some how, or go back to coal
