The Daily Telegraph’s Clare Armstrong says the Morrison government has done “quite the about-face” when it comes to their support for electric vehicles.

The Australian is reporting the rollout of charging and hydrogen refuelling stations will be accelerated by an electric vehicle strategy which is part of the Prime Minister’s plan for net zero emissions by 2050.“It’s quite the about-face when you think the Liberals ran quite heavily on this idea that Labor’s own electric vehicle incentives were going to end the weekend and the Utes of tradies would be no more,” Ms Armstrong said.

ByClare Clare ....Morrison & co need to stop making statements/promises that never eventuate. Something like the New Zealand government's electric vehicle rebate program. This doesn't require any infrastructure which cause delays, this only requires real financial commitment.

ByClare It’s all BS to try and win the vote. If you can’t see that then you need your head, read. 🤔

ByClare No they haven’t. I suppose it’s easy to get “announcements” confused with “actually doing things” if you’re not really paying attention.

ByClare Pretending to care about the Planet beware Libs bearing gifts.👍
