Analysis: Rupert Murdoch’s critics were savage after his newspapers staged a spectacular backflip on climate change, but while for some it ignited fury, it is vindication | CroweDM

Rupert Murdoch’s many critics were savage on Monday after his Australian newspapers staged a spectacular backflip and embraced the need for faster action on climate change.

Rupert Murdoch’s company, News Corp Australia, has repositioned on the issue of climate change action. It was a brazen move to reposition Murdoch’s company, News Corp Australia, on an issue where its strongest voices have warned against action for years. And it came just as Prime Minister Scott Morrison tries to reposition as well.

These aren’t the only somersaults ahead of the United Nations summit on climate change in Glasgow next month. TheLoading

CroweDM 'Vindication' means Hildebrand can call Greta names, excellent

CroweDM This won t save him from Hell.He s too close

CroweDM I also believe everything I'm told.

CroweDM His backflip wouldn't have anything to do with Morrison suddenly announcing he also cares about our planet. Wouldn't have anything to do with a Climate Change election looming. Considering Scomo stuffed up his khaki election plans.

CroweDM Murdoch murders the truth & Western Democracies.

CroweDM Don't invest much trust in it though. Plenty of times they've backflipped when liability was looming. And it's never been long before they're back at it again.

CroweDM So what do we get as loyal SMH readers for the last 10 years? A harder hitting piece than this would be nice. Murdoch could be called a number of things, dynamic is not one them. 2 weeks of front page shaming would suffice.

CroweDM He cares only about his family, money and power. And not necessarily in that order. He sees that power now lies in a different direction and wants the money to flow into his pockets.

CroweDM Sad when your accountants determine your morality.
