The Biden administration released plans to increase the country’s reliance on solar energy from 3 per cent to almost half the country’s electricity in less than 30 years.

In a move aimed at addressing climate change, the Department of Energy released a blueprint that calls for ramping up production of solar panels and transforming the United States’ energy infrastructure to produce 45 per cent of the country’s electricity from the Sun by 2050.
