More corporations are backing serious climate action, but they aren't making themselves heard to government, new research shows.

It found many of the companies most in favour of addressing climate change were from the financial sector.

While those companies are lobbying the most intensively, their policies are not the furthest from aligning with the Paris Agreement. One notable exception was the strong corporate support shown for the Climate Change Bill 2020 drafted by independent MP Zali Steggall, which sought to introduce an independent climate change commission.

Something else the Morrison government doesn't get is climate change, recycling, sustainable energy and commerce. Australia is still in the cave on it all!

Umm shouldn't the Government be setting the agenda and lobbying Industry? This is why the system doesn't work. It's backwards.
