New South Wales Police has referred its investigation into documents allegedly doctored by federal minister Angus Taylor’s office to the Australian Federal Police.

Minister Taylor criticized the City of Sydney’s travel expenses to make a point about climate change hypocrisy, it is then alleged he provided doctored documents to the Daily Telegraph over-representing the actual cost by 14 million dollars. Labor referred the matter to NSW police in October. Sky News Political editor Andrew Clennell said the NSW Police have referred the matter to the Australian Federal Police, with no guarantee the Federal Police will pursue the matter.
