Students have joined politicians and health professionals outside Scott Morrison's Sydney prime ministerial residence to demand action on climate change.

Climate protesters have vowed to camp outside the prime minister's Sydney residence, Kirribilli House, until he returns from holidays.

"Our direct message to Scott Morrison is for him to come home ... even though he's entitled to a holiday, it shouldn't be at a time where Australia is in crisis," said the 14-year-old.Demonstrators gathered outside Kirribilli House on Thursday morning demanding urgent action amid unprecedented bushfires, with one doctor declaring climate change the greatest health crisis of the century.

They called on the federal government to take immediate action on climate change and urged no new coal and gas projects, a transition to 100 per cent renewables and funding for affected fossil fuel workers. "It is negligent not to do anything about mitigation or adaptation. It is criminal to continue mining, burning, exporting oil, coal and gas because it's fuelling the crisis," Dr Loo told the crowd.Protesters have set up tents outside Kirribilli House. On Wednesday, Acting Prime Minister Michael McCormack defended the timing of Mr Morrison's break.

saveearth1928 Even if Scott was home he'd take all this on the chin & simply go about his normal business of the day re protecting the unsustainable inequality based dollar ideology! He's just a politician without true leadership qualities from where I'm standing!! Re's D peace 🌍✌

Green Politicians and their using kids to push their climate agendas

Paris Agreement. If they aren't going to recognise it as 'action on climate change' then we should withdraw from the agreement! More money to spend, less restrictions and cheaper electricity.

Keep them there no one in no one out till Australia Day

The labor opposition aren't accountable also? Why do we pay them also with our taxes?

The only thing this stunt accomplished was the creation of beautiful footage of ShoebridgeMLC getting arrested for the first time in his life. They grow up so fast.

The kids are lighting the fires. We aren't dumb.

St_KiKs They all have the same tent supplier. Yes where all individuals. HaHa

He's having a break....given he was accused of causing bushfires and being an arsonist I would have thought you'd be relieved he's not around.

Waste of time. The arse is in Hawaii? Should keep going to stay permanently with his mate in Mar A Largo!!

These clowns in their little fossil fuel made circus tents need to be psychiatrically assessed. Seriously. rabidgreenlunaticleftcircus

Great work! 👍🏆🏆

I'm thoroughly effing fed up with these 'Climate action ' protesters. Why the f%k can't they do something more productive.

Sounds like the camp will have be there until Christmas eve

Renewables not fossils. The fossils are all in the LNP.

Tell them that these tends are from petroleum.

Global warming fools park there butts outside Kirribilli waiting for Scomo to save the planet while the quiet Australians do what Aussies do best enjoy the great country we all have.

Could their chemistry teachers remind them the main source of polyester and plastic? I bet none of those students passed their chemistry exam this year.

Why are we not hearning who these arsonists are? Let me guess, probably the same people camped here

hey protesting about climate change and they have no qualms about using signs from trees being destroyed and ink that's made form chemicals. Sounds like a Vegan killing bugs.

kate_eviva But Scott’s on holidays.

Exactly WHAT action?

Shouldn't they be heeding medical advice and stay indoors out of the heat and smoke

Were these tents on special somewhere or are they supplied by the Greens

No need to go to work. Must be nice. privileged

Any idea what those tents are made of?

Corporate influence and pressures on government to denounce and devalue public opinion... This turns the public against each other... While Govt succeed protecting corporate profits interest and greed with govt incentives benefits always flavouring a few!!

What are those tents made from 🤔 would that be an artificial fabric produced from petroleum products!! What complete farce, bloody fools

“Students” organised and funded by leftest organisers. Honestly grasping at straws to imitate a grass roots movement😂😂😂 fake it till you make it Australian left rn, please stop imitating American Democrats, it’s extremely cringe and embarrassing

But he's not there. He's in New York with Brian Houston.

Nice plastic tents that will end up in landfill......

Lights are on but nobodies home.

deniseshrivell The fact the failed Ad man didn't see this coming is amusing.

Remembering when kayakers protested outside Turnbull ‘s Harbourside property . Good on these protestors! Auspol

And look at all that synthetic material... Do they even know how it is made... Oh the hypocrisy The level of stupidity is great with that lot. how much fuel did they burn to all get there? how many new carbon steel forms of transport did they use?

lol Who is the bigger fuckwit?

free cheep curried cock sanga cook up for all

All the same tents must have come from same donor

What builds renewables 🤔

Who is lighting all the fires Big coincidence they're happening in the climate change debate. Fires don't start themselves. Governments, police and AFP should all be working to catch the perpetrators - minimum 10 year sentences.

Is he coming back

Mouthbreathers.

HK 2.0

Nice use of petrochemicals
