Climate protesters have crashed an event by the Acting Prime Minister, as the government continues to face heat over its response to the bushfires.

Michael McCormack, who is in the top job while Scott Morrison is on a holiday, has acknowledged climate change is making life tough for farmers.

The School Strike for the Climate group claimed the prime minister was not showing enough leadership when it came to climate change. The activist group will converge on Kirribilli House at 8:30am on Thursday. Image: Getty

Make up your mind, are they protesting about climate issues, or the response to the bushfires? Two entirely different issues!

Just a pity that those who think this is a nothing arenot the ones losing everything. They aren’t even out there fighting the fires. Denialists, the new fifth column.

You know that's not a picture of the acting Prime Minister right?

Good to see s.h.y. in attendance.🥴😭

And that's why the PM can't tell these dickheads where he takes his kids on holidays. Media would love a photo of his kids being hurt by Climate Loonies

Why are we NOT using the RAAF C-17 Globemaster-C-130 Hercules and the C-27 Spartan are being used to fight fires WHY not in Australia Can the RAAF convert their Planes to fight fires? Can’t see why not.

Disgraceful response by Dick Head Michael MCCORMICK. Seriously his arrogance is atrocious .The NP completely stuffed up the farmers ,when they were crying out for help in 2016.The LNP ignored them .2018 just before the election ,they reacted to gain their vote . Appalling

Honestly what's Morrison suppose to do. He can't make it rain and rain is the only thing that's gonna control this situation now. Australia has the best Rural Fire Service in the world. Morrison not gonna come home and tell the Rural Fire service how to do there job. Shut up left

More from the rent a crowd

Climate Change protestors have crashed the event because Leftist education has FAILED in teaching people BASIC science.
