The first of up to seven nuclear reactors would be in the energy system by 2035 under the Coalition’s plan to offer Australia an energy alternative. After months of mounting speculation, Opposition leader Peter Dutton and Nationals leader David Littleproud on Wednesday will unveil nuclear power plants will be built in Liddell and Mt Piper in NSW, Loy Yang in Victoria, Callide and Tarong in Queensland, Collie in Western Australia and Port Augusta in South Australia.
