To reduce global warming we must cease burning fossil fuels, The solution is to build Thorium fueled, Liquid Salt, Nuclear Reactors at every fossil fueled power station (aka LFTR). They provide cheap Base Load power 24/7/365 & do not create Radioactive Waste or CO2

JEChalmers What he should have done is what WA did back in 2005 & tell gas produces to reserve 15 per cent of their production for the local market, we shouldn’t be paying world prices because greedy producers sell all to the international market & then we are short in supply..
I just setup a new AGL contract. We went from 28c/kw to 32c which is not a particularly dramatic jump. Bit annoyed supply fee went up though, that has no bearing on the wholesale price of energy. I see it as a bit of bad grace to be honest.

Complete bullsh!t. Retail rates will not change until July, no one has decreased rates, Energy Australia just INCREASED its rates, and retailers will almost certainly increase rates in July. This guy’s on another planet.
