Liberal MP JasonFalinskiMP says it's 'pretty obvious' the majority of those within the Coalition are seeking to move away from investment in coal-fired energy production as the Nationals campaign for coal subsidies.

Liberal MP Jason Falinski says it's "pretty obvious" the majority of those within the Coalition are seeking to move away from investment in coal-fired energy production as the Nationals campaign for coal subsidies. "The call for new coal-fired power stations is a long-held belief of the National Party. It's no surprise to anyone," he said. "We have a very healthy level of debate on these matters.

"I personally believe coal-fired power is not the answer going forward - there are more reliable and better forms of energy technology than coal as we look to provide cheap and reliable energy for Australian industry and consumers into the future. "That's not to say coal-fired power stations will not have a role in our energy mix into the future, but where you will see growth in energy production in the Australian market and global market, will be in other forms of electricity.

JasonFalinskiMP These LNP clowns are preventing the creation of ONE MILLION NEW JOBS. Clean tech Jobs of the future. They are clinging to the past, while Manufacturing, Mining, Transport, Agriculture look to a Zero carbon future. Auspol

JasonFalinskiMP '...the majority of those within the Coalition are seeking to move away from investment in coal-fired energy production..' A clear lie. The Liberal party Minister for Energy and Emissions Reductionis a climate denying activist worse than Abbott.

JasonFalinskiMP Coal & gas hav chosen themselves to exit the market. BECAUSE neither can compete with Cheap, Clean renewables. Anyone who thinks otherwise is living in La la Land. auspol

JasonFalinskiMP Falinski: 'We have a very healthy level of debate on these matters.' Healthy? Switched PM's over it. Power prices are up. Emissions are up. A reminder of what happens when a Liberal opposes a Murdoch protected coal industry. You get cancelled.

JasonFalinskiMP The right is now left!

JasonFalinskiMP I agree, 12 coal fired power stations retired/shutdown in the last 5 years and no new ones being built. 👍 The problem is how do we convince India and China to do the same. 👎

JasonFalinskiMP Well they’ll lose a lot of liberal voters if they move away from reliable coal &subscribe to expensive unreliable tech to appease the conscience of the rich woke hypocrites who refuse to consume & waste less just want toOffset their footprint to those who wear blankets in winter

JasonFalinskiMP Is this a Rift in the Govt ranks? A split? A Chasm? Disunity? A parting of the ways? Or is it jus Chaotic Blundering Around as usual? Is Media attention being noted? Silence, you say? Oh.
