Published on: Friday, July 05, 2024The committees and delegates of the UYLS Bangkok dressed in their official maroon and blue shirts on Day 1From May 23rd to 26th, 2024, Bangkok transformed into a hub of youthful energy and innovation as it hosted the Universal Youth Leadership Summit .
An icebreaking session quickly followed, featuring engaging activities that allowed delegates to connect and collaborate. The evening concluded with creative pitch group presentations on the summit’s themes like sustainable education, youth employability, and social equality and inclusion, with each group showcasing their ideas and logos, followed by a group photo session in their official blue shirts.Day two began with Mr. Riad's challenge for each group to create a 30-second Instagram reel, adding a creative twist to the day's activities.
The day continued with interactive activities promoted teamwork as groups answered questions displayed on large screens with markers connected by strings, while also participating in networking exercises. Hawa and her teammates construct a three-story building from newspapers, embodying the values of trust, purpose, resilience, enthusiasm, and appreciationThe final day celebrated cultural diversity, with delegates dressed in traditional attire.
Cultural activities brought the day to life with singing and dancing performances from various countries, creating a sense of unity and shared joy.
