The Plateau state government and the Bayelsa state government have signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) to collaborate on power, renewable energy, and agricultural products.

Douye Diri, Bayelsa state governor , and Caleb Muftwang, his Plateau counterpart , with other executives at the FIN annual international business roundtable in Lisbon, Portugal.

According to a statement on Monday, the MoU was signed at the Foreign Investment Network annual international business roundtable and Forbes Best of Africa Award ceremony. Muftwang and Diri also signed an agreement for a CTO Council youth training worth $5 million, the statement said. Spire Inc, a USA company, was said to have signed a $100 million investment for agricultural investment.
