The owner of the new upcoming pizza joint said he plans to maintain the theatre's classic facade.

to open in the historic San Marco Theatre have been filed with the city of Jacksonville, with the new restaurant targeting an opening in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The historic structure at 1996 San Marco Blvd. was built in 1938. The building's owner, Jacksonville-based TSG Realty, is maintaining the building’s historic facade. The restaurant will be operated by CuliVino Hospitality Management and Consulting and the contractor is Urban Planners.Designed by Atlanta-based architect ai3, Electric Dough Pizza Co.’s 4,200-square-foot interior will pay homage to the theater, according to the release.
