A new study from UCLA's Williams Institute found that wealthy LGBT urbanite are more likely to be affected by climate change.

on LGBT couples and climate change, “LGBT people in same-sex couples are at greater risk of exposure to the negative effects of climate change compared to straight couples” because they “are disproportionately located in coastal areas and cities.”

If the point was not more obvious, the study’s authors decided to highlight Washington, D.C., one of the wealthiest and most expensive cities in the nation, to point out the particular climate-induced difficulties that plague the LGBT community. I, for one, am shocked to learn that there are so many gay people in Washington, D.C., but that is neither here nor there. The main concern here is the plight of these white LGBT urbanites who are in serious danger from climate change.
