MANILA, Philippines: The Department of Energy said Sunday the Luzon grid could suffer a slight power shortage beginning next month that could trigger yellow alerts. The DoE said based on simulations, there could be yellow alerts in April and May because hydroelectric power plants may run below capacity levels due to El Niño.Energy Secretary Raphael Lotilla.
