has a range problem. Even as a short-range commercial vehicle, the E-Transit's 126 miles of range per charge isn't stellar. For 2024, that changes; it seems Ford has listened and learned from commercial buyers and non-commercial customers who own EVs such as the F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E. The 2024 Ford E-Transit gets more range and faster charging while retaining its current output of 266 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque.
Of course, those changes stem from news related to the battery pack, whose capacity swells by 21 kWh to 89 kWh. The larger battery increases range by 26 percent on low-roof E-Transit vans and ""up to 32 percent" on the high-roof model. Ford only provided a mileage estimate for the low-roof E-Transit, however: 159 miles. That's a nice increase over the 126 miles delivered by the 2023 model.
