Tesla is set to face competition in the Chinese market as Xiaomi enters the auto sector with its first-ever electric vehicle (EV), the Speed Ultra 7 (SU7). The SU7 boasts a range of up to 497 miles and can accelerate faster than some Tesla and Porsche EVs. It also features driver-assist capabilities and a digital cockpit. Xiaomi has already displayed the SU7 in showrooms across China and deliveries will begin on March 28.
The price of the SU7 has yet to be announced, but it is expected to be between 250,000 yuan and 370,000 yuan
